Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know about ordering on Dishly.

How do I place an order?

Find a restaurant, browse their menu, and add items to your cart. At checkout, choose pickup or delivery (if the restaurant offers it) and pick a payment method.

What payment methods can I use?

Card, cash, or e-transfer — whichever a restaurant accepts. Card payments are processed securely through Stripe; Dishly never sees or stores your card details.

How will I know when my order is ready?

Your order page updates in real time as the restaurant moves it from received to confirmed, preparing, and ready. You'll also get an email at each step.

Can I cancel or change my order after placing it?

There's no self-serve cancel — orders go straight to the restaurant's kitchen. Contact the restaurant directly as soon as possible if something needs to change.

How does delivery work?

Restaurants that offer delivery arrange it themselves — their own staff or a courier of their choice. Not every restaurant offers delivery; pickup is always available.

What are loyalty points?

Many restaurants reward you with points on every order, redeemable for a discount on a future order. Earn and redemption rates are set by each restaurant individually.

How do I leave a review?

Once an order is marked completed, you can leave a rating and comment from your order history.

Is my payment information secure?

Yes — card payments are handled entirely by Stripe, a PCI-compliant payment processor. Dishly never sees or stores your full card number.

I forgot my password — what do I do?

Use the Forgot your password? link on the sign-in page to reset it by email.

Who do I contact if there's a problem with my order?

Reach out to the restaurant directly — they prepare and fulfill every order, so they're best placed to help with anything that comes up.
